Explicación : Primer ejercicio : - No se puede decir strongest than, ya que el superlativo no se usa para comparar una persona / cosa con otra, sino para decir que esa persona / cosa es superior al resto en algún aspecto, por lo que than es innecesario.
- En el superlativo, hay dos grupos de palabras, las que se pueden "transformar" y las que necesitan llevar the most delante.
Las que se pueden transformar añaden el sufijo - est (Por ejemplo : strong, strongest) y suelen ser palabras cortas.
Las que no se pueden transformar simplemente añaden the most delante suya (Por ejemplo : intelligent, the most intelligent).
- En las comparaciones, hay casos especiales en los que no se sigue la normal de añadir el sufijo - er y se utiliza una palabra totalmente distinta.
Este es el caso de good, que se transforma a better, o bad, que se transforma a worse.
- Igual que en la primera oración, en el superlativo no se puede usar than, y además en este caso, el superlativo se ha formado mal, ya que ha usado el prefijo de las comparaciones ( - er) en vez del de superlativo ( - est).
- Al igual que en el superlativo, en las comparaciones hay dos grupos de palabras.
Las que se transforman con el sufijo - er, y las que simplemente añaden delante more.
En este caso, beautiful es una palabra que no se puede transformar con el sufijo - er, ya que la palabra es demasiado larga.
