En julio de 1976 tuvo lugar el atraco más importante de la Historia que tuvo como maestro a Albert Spaggiari, al que se le ocurrió la brillante idea de robar uno de los bancos más grandes de Francia, la sucursal de Societe Generalé en Niza, utilizando el sistema de alcantarillado de la ciudad para acceder a la cámara del Banco.
