Despejemos x en ambas ecuaciones

Igualamos ecuaciones - 20 + 3y = (60 - 7y) / 2

Como el 2 esta dividiendo pasa multiplicando

2( - 20 + 3y) = 60 - 7y - 40 + 6y = 60 - 7y

6y + 7y = 60 + 40

13 y = 100

y = 100 / 13

Si y es 7 9 / 13 sustituimos el valor enx = - 20 + 3y entonces

x = - 20 + 3 (100) / 13

x = - 20 + 300 / 13

x = - 260 / 13 + 300 / 13

x = 40 / 13

Comprobando si x = 40 / 13 y y = 100 / 13

x - 3y = - 20

40 / 13 - 3(100) / 13 = - 20

40 / 13 - 300 / 13 = - 20 - 260 / 13 = - 20 - 20 = - 20

2x + 7y = 60

2(40 / 13) + 7(100 / 13) =

80 / 13 + 700 / 13 = 60

780 / 13 = 60
